They say it's my birthday....

In honor of my turning 28 today, I thought I'd share a few of the other February 27th greats.

1986 - The United States Senate allows its debates to be televised on a trial basis.
1982 - Earl Anthony becomes 1st pro bowler to win more than $1 million
1981 - Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder record "Ebony and Ivory"
1974 - "People" magazine begins sales
1967 - Pink Floyd release their 1st single "Arnold Layne"
1963 - Mickey Mantle of New York Yankees sign a baseball contract worth $100,000
1960 - U.S. Olympic Ice Hockey Team beats U.S.S.R. 3-2 en route to gold medal
1951 - 22nd amendment ratified, limiting president to 2 terms
1945 - Lebanon declares Independence.
1932 - Elizabeth Taylor, British-American actress is born

1908 - Star #46 was added to U.S. flag for Oklahoma
1902 - John Steinbeck, American writer, Nobel laureate is born
1594 - Henry IV is crowned King of France.

1981 - JR is shot on TV's Dallas... Angie is born.
